Editing song information

You can change the title, album, or artist of a song in your library.

Select the song, then choose Get Info from the File menu. Make your changes. Changes are saved when you close the information window.

Changing the iTunes information doesn't change the name of the file on your hard disk. To change the file name use the Finder. The information window shows the location of the file.
